Although she was not affiliated with any religion, she believed in God and was anxious to meet her family in the hereafter. She worked many years for Bradshaw Auto Pars as a bookkeeper. In her younger days, she played the violin with the Salt Lake Symphony. Surviving are two daughters, Lavon A. Larsen, Salt Lake City; Dr. Nancy P. She was preceded in death by one grandson, one great-grandson and her son-in-law, Ted Larsen.

He had been afflicted with this disease during the past two years, but recovered materially from the trouble last winter when given two blood infusions at the Pearse hospital.
About two weeks ago he drove from his ranch to this city, taking his wife and family back with him to Idaho, where they have been accustomed to spending the summer. He was a son of Benjamin B. He grew to manhood here, receiving his education in the public schools. In January, , he married Miss Lana Jensen, also of this city. In he left for a mission to the Southern States, returning in He was a quiet unassuming man, tending strictly to his own affairs; yet possessed of a cheerful disposition and a man of high ideals with a will power to live up to his convictions.
During the past twenty-five years he and his brother Reuben E. Alvord, have been interested in the sheep business in this state and Idaho, and were very successful in that line. Two years ago they sold their sheep and dissolved partnership. Surviving are the widow and the following children, Anna, Alice and Ralph Alvord. It was stated that on Monday the girl was up and playing but the relentless destroyer, black malignant diphtheria, laid her low in a day. He loved making friends with locals wherever he went. Chris was a computer wizard, long after he left a job selling them he continued to fix and build them. He had a knack for making a living by doing what he loved with the people he loved. Chris is survived by his wife, Sherri; children, Stefini, Rikki and Jaison; the light of his life, his granddaughter, Sammie; parents, Pam and Dee Alvord; brother, Brook Tanya Alvord; nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.

But a genetic disorder prevented Conner from having a normal childhood. He continued suffering from health problems and died Thursday, according to a published obituary. He was 23 months old. But when the newborn had trouble eating, he was placed in critical care at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. Tests showed he had an abnormal liver.
At age seven weeks, Conner received a liver from a 4-year-old California girl. The initial transplant surgery took 12 hours, with subsequent procedures during the following two weeks. Conner appeared well at first, but then his health declined. At one point, his parents rented an apartment in Salt Lake City rather than commute from Ogden. Then on Nov. While she was attending the University she was playing on a softball team sponsored by Salina Roofing Co.
Dolly was a real estate agent for several years and received awards for her abilities. She also was employed by Pacific Telephone from which she retired after many years to be with Harry. She enjoyed golfing, antiques, pretty sunsets and flowers. Dolly and Harry had a unique ability to buy homes that needed TLC, fix them up beautifully and then sell them for a nice profit. They moved from Kansas early in their marriage and went to Colorado Springs, Colorado. They spent all their time together going for drives, dates, Costco of course , anywhere as long as they were together.
She is survived by her husband first and only love Harry Egan of Washington Utah. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, sister Roberta, and son James Alan Egan. On Saturday the 28th day of April we will be holding a private memorial for Dolly at their home for family members only. She was precious and we all came to love her. Dolly was a special lady of many talents and we will all miss her dearly.

Dora Jane Halford Plant age 83, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 18, Dora was born in a one bedroom house shared with twelve siblings on the west side of Salt Lake City on June 21, Dora was born during the worst years of the Great Depression and grew up in a tiny, impoverished home full of children, mostly brothers.
She was nine years when World War II started. She spent many a day going down to the nearby railroad tracks with her siblings to scavenge scattered coal to help heat the family home. Dora learned early how to be clever and resourceful. She devoted herself always to assist her ailing parents and help raise her younger brothers. She loved her family, heart and soul, and endured tremendous hardships. Dora grew into a ravishing beauty and briefly earned a living as a model.
She had many suitors, but it was Joseph Edward Plant who fell head over heels in love and won her hand. Dora and Joe devoted themselves to one another, their family and community for 64 years, together they raised three children. Dora was the consummate homemaker. She loved to decorate her home and cook up a storm. She was an accomplished seamstress and could take a pattern from a favorite pair of store bought jeans and replicate it perfectly. She designed and hand stitched all of the curtains, throw pillows, upholstered chairs, and bed linens in her house.
Her home was her castle and creative art palette. She was a master porcelain doll ceramist and teacher. With her passion for cooking she worked and owned two local restaurants and for over 25 years served as head chef over food services at the Bountiful LDS Temple. Strong in her testimony, she fulfilled many LDS callings with joy and dedication.

Dorene truly lived a full life. She was a mother, father, den-mother, coach, mentor, travel guide, self-made woman, but most of all an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother. As a voracious reader and a predecessor to Google, she was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to all. Being a single mother of four and at times working two jobs, she always made it a priority to attend every ball game, practice, school play, choir recital, and even volunteered at the Rape Resource Center.
She overcame many difficulties and found a way to make the most out of the hand she was dealt. She drastically impacted many lives and will be dearly missed by many. Dorene was the oldest of six children of George and Katherine Huber. She was married to David Halford and later divorced. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo Huber, her sister Kathy Delapalaine.
